Get More Subscribers to Your Blog

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Blogs by Sir Post A Lot

Got a bit of help for this blog recently by getting added to this list. This list is designed to help get you some link love, as well as to get more people to subscribe to your RSS feed. The list was originally created at JMH Techtronics and will help us all get better PR, Alexa scores if followed, and hopefully a bunch of RSS subscribers, so pass it along and follow the rules please :).

***Start Copying Here***

1. Create a post and link back to the person that put you on the list in the first paragraph with a brief thank you and description of why people want to use the campaign. DO NOT copy their paragraph. Write your own unique one and link to their site.

2. Copy the ENTIRE list of Feeds and create an OPML File to import into your feed readers so that you can subscribe to all of the blogs on the list. You will want to read my post entitled Mass RSS Feed Subscribing with an OPML so you understand how to do it. (You will want to copy this link over to your post so those you add know how to do this too.)

3. Copy the ENTIRE list of Feeds AND blogs and put them into your post like they are here. Move the “My Adds” from the blog that added you into the “Originals” lists for each. This list is unique because I want you to be able to copy the feeds with out having to delete the blogs before making the OPML file so I separated the two links into 2 lists.

4. Add any blogs you want to the list with whatever keywords you want. Then get their RSS Feed and add those to the list of Feeds in your “My Adds” section.

5. Publish your post.

6. Comment on the post that originated the list here so that new additions can be subscribed to as well by the lists before yours.

Britney says she hit ‘rock bottom’ before rehab

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Britney Spears by Sir Post A Lot

It is “No Talent ass clown” goes to rehab day on Sir Post’s Entertainment Blog. Ms. Spears said that she hit “Rock bottom” on her website recently about how she ended up in rehab. You think? I sure as hell hope so. Thinking you are possessed by the devil and trying to commit suicide should be considered rock bottom for most. We shall see if that is really the case with Britney.

“Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don’t think that it was alcohol or depression,” the 25-year-old pop star writes. “I was like a bad kid running around with ADD (attention deficit disorder).”

“I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce,” writes Spears. “I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn’t know who to go to.”

“I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost,” she writes.

Explaining her recent behavior, she says: “I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce.

“I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life,” she continues. “You never know another person’s intentions or what another person wants. … I have had to cut so many people out of my life.”

After wild weekend, Lohan back in rehab

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Crime and Scandals, Lindsay Lohan by Sir Post A Lot

Getting voted #1 on the Maxim Hot 100 must have been reason to celebrate for Lohan. Apparently everything is a reason for this actress to celebrate and get into trouble.

The move followed a weekend during which the wild-child actress, who is a month shy of her 21st birthday, crashed her Mercedes, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend’s car.

“It’s so weird that I went to rehab,” Lohan said in Allure magazine’s May issue. “I always said I would die before I went to rehab.”

“The world has been very hard on her,” said Michael Heller, an attorney and Lohan family friend. “She has a lot of personal issues and family issues. There’s an incredible amount of pressure on this 20-year-old.”

Find Public Speakers

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in sponsored post by Sir Post A Lot

When planning an event, many time it is a make, or break based upon the speaker that is presented for the event. Finding great men, or women speakers is a big deal when trying to get people to your event.

The international Speakers Bureau is an amazing source for finding speakers to fit your needs. They provide information based on what your event may be about and help you get the perfect speaker for your audience. They have a directory of speakers to look at and have them broken down into price ranges so that you can find a speaker who fits your budget. You can even view videos of the speakers you want to consider so you can really see how effective they are in front of a crowd. You don’t need to go just by reputation here. You can actually hear and see the speaker before making a decision based upon word of mouth. I’ve never seen a site that focused on this before so it really is a great resource for those who plan events and need speakers for those events on a regular basis.

Jolie plans film hiatus to be with family

Posted on May 24th, 2007 in Who Cares by Sir Post A Lot

Yawn….slow celebrity news day I guess. I suppose I could ramble on about American Idol a bit, but I really could care less about the show. Seen it maybe twice in my life, and don’t listen to any of the people that come off it. Pop music is crap. Plain and simple.

Angelina Jolie says she plans to take a year off from filmmaking to spend more time with her partner, Brad Pitt, and their children.

“We’re getting work out of the way at the moment,” said the 31-year-old actress, who has been shooting the thriller “Wanted” in Prague, Czech Republic.

After that, she said, “I take two months off, then I work for two months. Then I take a year off.” Read more…

Jessica Alba: ‘I love challenging authority’

Yeah…I know this is kind of a lame story, but any chance I get to post a pic of Jessica Alba I take it. She says some stuff about being rebellious or something or other and how people think she is all nice and whatnot. I really couldn’t tell you what all she said and to tell you the truth I don’t care. Everything from the article was like Charlie Brown teacher speak to me. Just words. I guess some people may want to read it so i guess I’ll post a link to it.
