TV stars help themselves to freebies in gift suite
I remember seeing something similar to this on The Sopranos when i was watching some older episodes on DVD a couple weeks back. It was when Christopher was out trying to get himself a lead for his stupid “Cleaver” movie he had going. HE was hanging out with the celeb they wanted to be in the movie and they went to one of these things where they just got the most expensive crap around for free. Rolex watches, sweet phones, etc.
This article talks about what real life celebs are picking up for free:
“It is a pretty special moment for all of us,” the star of ABC’s “Men in Trees” told Associated Press Television this week at the suite. “We are here because our shows are getting pickup for the next season. It’s ironic that when people are famous enough to finally afford all that stuff they get it for free. Maybe not ironic, maybe just sucky.
