Britney Accused of Ducking Drug Tests
Britney Spears must provide a single, working telephone number to be called in for drug testing, a court commissioner ruled Thursday after her ex-husband’s attorney said she has repeatedly failed to respond to calls for the court-ordered screenings. Spears attorney argued that she returned the calls within the hour, which is what she is supposed to do. She was apparently sleeping, or making a candy cane recipe or something.
Of the 14 such calls placed to Spears, she failed to respond eight times, Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon earlier in the day.
The judge was less concerned with this than Britney just changing numbers and not notifying those that are involved. No custody changes were made in court and she is still able to see her kids one night a week, and twice during the day each week.
