Ellen DeGeneres and longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi are jumping at the chance to get married.

DeGeneres announced their engagement during a taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, telling the studio audience the news that the California Supreme Court had struck down state laws against gay marriage making it so they no longer needed a passport to another country, or have to go to another state to get the same union. The show airs Friday.

“So I would like to say now, for the first time, I am announcing: I am getting married,” she said.

While most kids were busy just playing on their swing sets, Miley Cyrus was becoming Hannah Montana, and a superstar. With it has come insane popularity, and as many rumors as you can shake a stick at.

This time the rumor is that Miley Cyrus is stealing songs according to Page 6. Rock band Lustra claims that Miley’s song “Rockstar” sounds way too close to their tune “Scotty Doesn’t Know,” which appeared on the ‘Eurotrip’ soundtrack.
