Jason Bourne Fans Rejoice: 4th Bourne Movie to be Made
Well…He has kicked the crap out of everyone that has done him wrong so far. Now he is coming back to kick more ass in a 4th movie. The first 3 movies were based on novels by Robert Ludlum, but the newest film will be an original story.
I’m sort of up in the air about this one. I love the Bourne movies don’t get me wrong. Some of the best action movies in the last 20 years IMO. When the first one came out i was blown away and slowly liked them less as they continued. Seemed to be “more of the same” to me as they kept coming. The announcement of an original story doesn’t get me too excited about its prospects either. We all know that the “cash grab” after the original scripts are gone tend to be just that: a cash grab. Won’t stop people filling their CAT6 cables with video camera footage in anticipation though I’m sure.
We’ll see. I guess if expectations aren’t that high we can be pleasantly surprised.
