That’s right. 3 more days left before the Lost SERIES FINALE! Bittersweet for most of us I think. We can’t wait to see how it ends with an epic 2 and a half hour movie to end it all, but we are certainly going to be very sad to see it go.

I have already started to re-watch the series from Season 1. I miss it already. The show is literally only one of 3 I have genuinely cared about in the past decade. Lost, The Sopranos, and Dexter. Everything else is just junk food for the brain.

So…what are we in store for this weekend? Let’s look at the schedule of the upcoming Lost weekend.

Saturday we can watch the replay of the Lost Pilot (Season 1 episode 1) that began it all. I watched this yesterday actually . ABC will re-air the original two-hour pilot from 2004 from 8-10 p.m. ET. It will reportedly include a ”pop-up” version with enhanced trivia and facts about the $10 million episode.

Then tune in on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET for “The Final Journey,” which will review past events of the series. Past and present cast members are also expected to discuss their experiences working on the show.

And finally, the two-and-a-half hour “Lost” series finale will air on Sunday from 9-11:30 p.m. ET. Hope you took Monday off work!

If you are anything like me, and well maybe you aren’t because you probably have a life, you will be on the interwebs talking about the episode after it airs. This means that 2 AM is probably a conservative time to be in bed.

I’m not going to a Lost party. I just don’t want to be distracted. Too many people kicks my ADD into overdrive. I can’t NOT talk when I’m around people. I don’t want to get all dressed up and have to wipe my shoes on the outdoor rugs at some dude’s house and listen to idiots that are just there for a drunkfest ask questions the entire time. Seriously…can you imagine the girlfriend of the guy that comes and says stuff like “Who are these guys? What is this show about? I have never seen this before!”. Stabbed in the eye.

Every once in a while something special comes along and gets captured on Youtube. Be it some crazy dancing guy at a music fest that starts a party out of nowhere with the power of one, or just some guy that takes small clips of himself dancing in front of the people in dozens of different countries. These things make me feel good. They bring people from ALL OVER together to share a common joy of being human. We all feel truly connected by the smallest of things, and it makes us happy. I can feel the love.

Music is one of the greatest ways to do it. By sharing a short video on a video cards like how Susan Boyle dazzled the world on Britain’s Got Talent. Kids are even more amazing. Like this kid that is a 6th grader singing a Lady Gaga song at a small school show. Just watching this being performed gives me chills. Seeing the outpouring of awe and inspiration of all the people that view it, as well as the obvious dark losers that have to bash everything because they have no soul getting ostracized from the group just makes me feel good.

Nobody welcomes you home like a dog. Cats may not be much trouble, but they don’t really go out of their way to welcome you home. Be it running up and wagging its tail, or licking your hand, the canine is always ready to greet its master.

He may not always be feeling well, but he will always leave you a gift. Puke on the carpet, or if you leave them home long enough a nice healthy deuce on the kitchen floor.

Instead of having a cook show you how to cook Mac n’ Cheese, or some guy to tell you wait type of lipozene pill you need to now look like a pig, they brought on these lovely dogs for your viewing pleasure.

I doubt you can ever turn on your television and not find an episode of Law & Order in some form , or another. The extent that this show appears on TV guides is so high that it is literally become a standard joke on late night shows in monologues, and the other uncreative jokesters you run into.

What I found interesting about this show though in reading today is the sheer amount of jobs that it provided. According to Katherine Oliver, the commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting, every year Law & Order provided jobs to about 4,000 people, including one-day acting roles. Its spending totaled about $79 million annually, she said, including things like coffee and bagels, boom microphones, anti wrinkle lotion, and duct tape. During its 20-year run, that impact amounted to as much as $1 billion or more, she said.

So…New York is mourning much more than the passing of a TV staple. They are mourning the economic impact the show made over the last 20 years.

At least this is what I gather from every uppity political paper out there that has reviewed it. Apparently, they all expected the movie to feature feminine men in tights having grab ass parties instead of Russel Crowe kicking ass.

First clue that this was going to be different should have been when Disney wasn’t making it, and Russel Crowe was playing Robin Hood.

Yes, every title I have seen mentions the “Tea Party” when talking about this movie. I just look at it as their new favorite catch phrase and look to see how EPIC the movie probably is. I want Gladiator 2 with guys doing atv riding, not Errol Flynne snapping towels with other guys in tights.

The funny thing is, that I get the impression most of these people never even viewed the movie yet. They just “heard” about some of the plot elements and decided that it was a great time to bash some political party, or movement.

I’ll wait until people that aren’t political whiners decide to start telling me about it. You know actual movie goers who don’t want to spew political opinions while they review things. I certainly haven’t been able to find anything that actually talks about it as a movie yet anyways.

Say what you want about Lohan and her messed up life lately, but she certainly should be able to pull off this role. I mean to play someone that was even more F’d up than you are? Has to be good therapy don’t you think? Hopefully she will at least be in shape because I imagine there will be a lot of nudity in this one while she is destroying mattresses.

Lindsay Lohan will portray a porn star, according to Wali Razaqi, Linda Lovelace, the Deep Throat superstar who later became a feminist crusader against pornography. Razaqi confirmed to EW.com that “Lindsay Lohan has been cast as Linda Lovelace” in Inferno, and also told The Los Angeles Times that “We’ve all thought that Lindsay would be a great choice for a while now, and we’re all convinced that she is going to do it.”

I guess it is almost time to end now. Good news though. I heard that the finale got extended another 25 minutes or something last night. It is going to be a bloodbath the rest of the way it appears.

Probably the most depressing episode last night since the Charlie finale. We lost at least 3 main characters. Sun/Jin with a heartbreaking death scene just after being reunited a couple weeks ago. Sayid with a heroic death as I always thought would happen. I always figured he would go out saving Jack’s life. Then we have no idea what happened to Frank. Some assume he died, while other think it isn’t possible to have such a lame and uninteresting death. I agree with the latter. He would have had at least a catchy one liner before he died wouldn’t he?

Funnily enough, there was a collective cheer when Kate got shot last night, but she looks to have survived the wound. I guess she is also immortal. Maybe she will kill MiB and become him. Yeah…I know…stupid. Go puke in your stone sink.

Jack is THE Candidate for sure now I would guess. Everyone knew it from the beginning, but it is way too clear now. Except the possibility that Jack is just going to meet Desmond and he will be Desmond’s right hand manlike Richard. Either way it looks like this is all going to come full circle at some point.

I still theorize that everyone will die by the end. That Jack will become Jacob and die in the AU, while everyone else will live in the AU. For some reason I have the notion that they can’t be alive in both time lines. Happily ever after and all that. Jack saying “I wish you would believe.” to Locke last night made it just appear that he was the pathetic one in the AU.
