Zombies on TV: Walking Dead

Zombies have a cult following, but it seems that they are more and more in the mainstream lately. Not sure what brought it all the way here, but for the first time I can remember there will be a full television series on the life of zombies and all their friends. AMC, who has created shows like Mad Men, and rarely fail at a dramatic series are starting to broadcast ‘Walking Dead’ on Halloween night.

The premiere will be a 90 minute fright-fest that will have those of us with laptop insurance breathing easier, or will we? The trailer below is from Comic-Con 2010.

Online Vehicle Insurance Quotes

My insurance went up after a move recently, so I decided it was probably time to check out a few vehicle insurance quotes to find a better deal. With the way it is so easy to get a quote online now it only takes a few minutes to get a comparison, and to find the perfect rate.

While talking to an agent can be fine, it is usually the last thing I want to deal with. It’s so much easier just to get a quote online, buy it online, and print it right off the website. Never talking to a single person, yet getting everything you need.

What is this Flight Attendant Nonsense?

For the life of me I’m trying to figure out why some flight attendant is a “hero” to people. According to TMZ some guy did something on a plane and there is a Facebook page with over 15,000 members in support of this guy for breaking a airline protocol.

Obviously, I must have been hiding somewhere the last few days…oh right I don’t pay attention to stuff this dumb until it is unavoidable and on every news page I see….

So…after reading about 4 articles on this I still haven’t figured out what happened. I just see people making it out to be some sort of joke, or like the guy was in the right even though he is facing 7 years in PRISON.

Give me a couple minutes and 5 more articles and maybe I can figure it out…

OK…I still don’t get why he is a hero, but apparently some passenger was rude to a flight attendant and he snapped. At least this is what I gather, and people think this was a good idea because they have had rude customers before as well. I forgot that customers should pay for being ruse. I’m sure all employers were applauding this flight attendant for breaking a bunch of laws to show how bad he is at his job.

This story makes me sad, and sick for anyone that thinks that flight attendant is clever, or whatever they think. He certainly won’t be getting his 25 year engraved gifts for his retirement anymore that’s for sure.

Wasilla Mayor OWns Levi Johnston

As if Sarah Palin hasn’t made enough of a joke of politics in Alaska….

Levi Johnston, some guy that used to date one of Sarah Palin’s kids, says that he is going to run for mayor of Wasilla in 2012. This was an office that Sarah Palin once held on her way to making non-sensicle rants on Fox News after her bid with McCain to become VP went down in flames.

While Johnston can run for any office he wants, I guess, the current Mayor of Wasilla had some amusing comments to share about his possible opponent.

Upon hearing the news that Johnston, 20, plans to run for the office in 2012 as the premise of his new reality show, Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office (LOL), Mayor Verne E. Rupright tells Entertainment Tonight: “Well, it is a little early to declare. Usually most wait until the year the seat is up.”

“But since I am nearly old enough to be Levi’s grandfather I think it would be wise for him to get a high school diploma and keep his clothes on. The voters like that!” added Rupright, taking a dig at Johnston’s Playgirl cover.

While he is more qualified to sell
humidifier filters, than he is to hold public office, it isn’t stopping someone from giving him a reality show. All I want to know is what kind of person would watch this type of show?

Buy Michael Jackson’s Death House For $28 Million

The manisipon in which Michael JAckson died is on the market once again, and it is at a hefty discount from where it was last time it was listed. Nearly $10 million less with an with an asking price of $28,995,000.

While possibly in an attempt to get a sneak peek inside many have have expressed interest, but the owners have required all potential buyers to go through an “extensive pre-qualifying check” before they can even walk in the door. Wonder if they ask about opiate detox tests.

Back in 2008, the property owner — Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez — tried selling the place for $38 million … but when that didn’t work out, he agreed to let MJ live in the home while he rehearsed for the “This Is It” tour.
