ABC Stiffing General Hospital Creators For Years?
The original creators of General Hospital, all the way back in 1963, Frank and Doris Hursley may have been stiffed by ABC for years. Now deceased, charges were filed by their estate, (ie. their daughters) to see if they were getting taken on the deal that apparently was to pay them 10% of all profits gained from the show.
The daughters alleged that ABC has cooked their books for years and that they owe the family money. The amount they think is owed was not given, but the show which was cancelled recently will have run for 49 years when the final show is done. That’s probably a lot of dehumidifiers when they get the books opened. They want the judge to force ABC to show their record keeping.
