One of the stranger matches I would think, but it looks like Mel Gibson and Britney Spears are headed to Costa Rica together.

According to a report in People, a source said the two are “just going away for a few days to relax.”

Odd couple if I ever saw one. Maybe not though. Mel has had his share of crazy moments himself I guess. Maybe he is going to go over list of best diet pills with her and help her get back into shape. Surely they can’t be “dating” can they? Maybe they are like the Vince Vaughn couple in Wedding Crashers?

Britney has probably spent as much time in court as she has in insane asylums over the last year. Judges have authorized payments of everything but her kitchen sinks to her lawyers to the tune of $372,000 for legal representation through March 31st.

Time for some crappy new videos and songs I guess. Maybe even some more TV appearances, or a part in Scary Movie 49?

Spending all of Britney’s money on strippers and booze. I suppose if he was buying cars, home theater chairs, clothes, and home decor items it wouldn’t look so bad, but really…is it any different?

According to TMZ, legal docs, in a recent eight-month period, Federleezy blew $50,489.71 on hotel rooms and refreshments in Vegas.

In one day alone, K-Fed dropped $2,632.50 at TAO Beach (the pool club at The Venetian). And on one wild evening, he spent $2,862.60 at TAO nightclub. One day at the Hard Rock Beach Club — $3,008.33

Oh yeah, and there’s this…. at Scores strip club, he once spent $365, but left a $2,000 tip.

Yup…give a point to an ex-husband getting his. Sexism baby. Love it.

After many bouts with addiction treatment and going as close to insane as I guess you can, Britney is back out there releasing videos. I know how big of fans everyone is of Britney’s fantastic music (yes…I’m laughing) so I will post a video for you showing her in some sort of futuristic world as a Super Hero.

I guess she is going for the techno sound now apparently. Let’s just say that I am not impressed by the effort, but surely some of you will be.

Very interesting law being sought. Those damned “media” people getting in the way of rescue efforts may lead to a new law.

“(It cost) $25,000 dollars to take an ambulance with Britney Spears to the hospital,” Councilman Dennis Zine told Access Hollywood. “Tax payers paid for that.”

The final straw for Zine was the mayhem surrounding Britney’s first January ambulance trip when her entrance to the hospital was jeopardized by media ( I hate the word “paparazzi”).

“It is not going to be called the ‘Britney Spears Law,’ I am not going to give her credit for that because it is not about Britney Spears, it’s about the paparazzi violating everybody else’s rights, freedoms and privileges,” Zine explained.

We shall see. We don’t need reporters tripping over hospital tile while they try to push over rescue workers to get the “Scoop” now do we?

Even though Britney Spears is all over the news for being quite crazy, she is still raking it in for herself and those people around her. According to AOL and a breakdown of her portfolio, Brit Birit is still making over $9 Million a year and is worth more than $100 Million. Although she probably spends half her time passed out on someone’s outdoor furniture she still is making people money.

I have seen headlines all over that say things like “Court Keeps Britney from Her Kids”. Well…I suppose you could say that, but I tend to think it has more to do with her going whacko then anything. A standoff with police is probably not going to win you very many custody hearings. Good old Britney Spears Crazy I must say.

Commissioner Scott Gordon then ruled that a Jan. 4 emergency order suspending her visitation rights and giving custody to Federline would remain in effect. He scheduled another hearing for Feb. 19.

“The word victory is not something Mr. Federline or his counsel would ascribe to this. There is no joy. This is a grave situation for all,” Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said outside the courthouse.

Court spokesman Allan Parachini said those who testified were two Los Angeles police officers; Paula Strong, the court-appointed monitor who was present for the visit at Spears’ home; Lisa Hacker, a parenting coach who has been working with Spears and Federline; and Lonnie Jones, the bodyguard.

I suppose Britney will need a Business valuation after this by the silly people that actually make money off of her. I wonder…is she more popular now than she ever was? People will forgive her. I have no doubt about that. She’s now more of a person people stare at waiting for her to do something crazy rather than someone that entertains them with “talent”.

Good grief. What a fiasco. I’m not sure how much bigger of a circus our good friend Britney can put on. Laid up in her platform beds at the hospital, Britney got a visit from who else? Dr. Phil. The guy that claims to actually be a doctor and not just a hack. Well…I suppose he has a degree and all, but I’m sure there are plenty of better doctors out there to rush to the scene. What a camera whore.

“My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her,” McGraw told ET Onilne.

Federline’s attorney chimed in with his scripted response:

“I’m not happy about any of these events,” Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said when he left the closed-door emergency hearing Friday afternoon. “There’s no winners here.”

At least the judge actually took the kids away. Surprisingly, Britney was actually released already. She needs to be in a straight jacket.

Surprise, surprise. After seeing Britney have another breakdown there wasn’t much else they could do. IS she crazy or does she need some more progesterone? I’d say she is nuts . Take a look at her getting hauled off.

A court commissioner Friday gave sole physical and legal custody of Britney Spears ‘ two little boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline and suspended the troubled pop star’s visitation rights.

Commissioner Scott Gordon issued a ruling the day after Spears was hauled away from her home by paramedics after police had to intervene when she refused to return the children to Federline after a court-monitored visit.

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Kaplan, said he had been at Spears’ hilltop home late Thursday before an ambulance whisked the singer through a throng of paparazzi to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a nearly three-hour standoff with Los Angeles police.

“I was up at the guard gate where (she) lives. I did not go in” to the home, Kaplan said. “I was up there only to bring a document … that identified the existing court order” about the couple’s custody arrangements and visitation schedule. An online Poll taken by kids has shown that they believe Santa should fill Paris’, and Britney’s stockings with coal. Two of the wildest celebrities in recent memory have seen their share of time in court, rehab, and even jail in the last year. Kids say they shouldn’t get anything for Crhistmas except for coal.

By contrast Disney star Hannah Montana, played by country singer Billy Ray Cyrus’s daughter Miley, was overwhelming deemed the “nicest” celebrity among children aged 2 to 12 while actress Angelina Jolie was the choice for teenagers 13 to 17.

Pretty funny seeing Angelina voted to be “nicest”. Nicest ASS maybe if you asked me, and this is a “Teen” poll so yeah I assume that is the case. She probably needs and entre New York Moving Company just to get all the kids she is adopting, and having anywhere these days. I suppose those are the stories she has out now so it isn’t surprising she won “nicest” celeb.

Paris and Britney beat out some fictional villains in the poll as well. The two women beat out Swiper the Fox from the television show Dora the Explorer, the Grinch from the book “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and Darth Vader from Star Wars among children 2-12.

For teens, Spears and Hilton topped Lindsay Lohan , who spent 84 minutes behind bars this year for a drunken driving and cocaine-possession conviction, and Beyonce.

When asked what makes someone nice, children mentioned “cleaning up and doing chores,” “sharing” and “being honest and polite” as ways to impress Santa.

On the flip side, they mentioned “not listening to parents,” “being mean and bullying” and “being snobby” as behaviors exhibited by those headed for the naughty list.
