Celebrities are a dispicable bunch and it has been decided that they need to be SAVED-UH! Britney Spears is the top prayer getter from the Hollywood Prayer Network, a group of more than 5,000 Christians that prays for stars instead of writing them off as lost causes. The network recently passed a Bible to socialite Paris Hilton and plans to pass one to Spears later this month. It also picks up-and-coming child stars for its monthly Kids Prayer Calendar and pairs hundreds of mentors with struggling actors — the kind more likely to take your order in a restaurant than appear on your television. Instead of helping people in real need like those that use assisted living software, this prayer network is focused on the celebs, and ironically the network members seem to be striving for the spotlight themselves by passing out these Bibles.
You can forget about those guys knocking on your door to talk to you about Jesus now for a while I hope. They may have their hand full with the celebrities. The people that really need it. Sigh…

Britney Spears must provide a single, working telephone number to be called in for drug testing, a court commissioner ruled Thursday after her ex-husband’s attorney said she has repeatedly failed to respond to calls for the court-ordered screenings. Spears attorney argued that she returned the calls within the hour, which is what she is supposed to do. She was apparently sleeping, or making a candy cane recipe or something.
Of the 14 such calls placed to Spears, she failed to respond eight times, Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon earlier in the day.
The judge was less concerned with this than Britney just changing numbers and not notifying those that are involved. No custody changes were made in court and she is still able to see her kids one night a week, and twice during the day each week.

Oh boy. Doesn’t she just look good enough to vomit on? Yes…she is one spectacular woman I must say. Not sure what look she is going for here really. Gay Buddah? Jellybean? Who the hell knows what cracked out dream she came up with this idea in. Does she think this is hot? Do some damn ab work woman.
If you are really the type that likes to look at pot belly types then i guess you could take a look at the 155 picture slide show at AOL. 155! They call it “Racy”. I call it “Poppin’ fresh”

More Britney I know. She’s crazy. What do you expect? Monday night she finally turned herself in for an incident in August in which she was thought to have fled from the scene of an accident.
“She was fine, cooperative,” Lopez said. “She did her business and came out.”
“They were nice,” she said of police. She told the station she was wearing the sunglasses because she had pinkeye.
The charges stem from an Aug. 6 wreck during which press filmed Spears steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. The video showed her walking away after assessing the damage to her own car.
Britney is above the law folks. I don’t see any reason that should even be considered a crime really. Just have her “apologize” or something.

Music label Zomba sued PerezHilton.com for copyright infringement Thursday, saying the gossip Web site illegally posted recordings by pop singer Britney Spears .
The songs are from Spears’s upcoming album “Blackout,” her first album of new material in four years. The postings occurred over the past three months, Zomba said in a statement.
“Blackout” had been scheduled for release on Nov. 13 by Jive Records, which is part of Zomba Label Group, Zomba said.
Since it was leaked I guess they are going to release the song on October 30th instead. Great news Britney fans! Who are you? I seriously would love to know.

I don’t know what it is, but I seem to only want to write about Britney. She is just kind of nuts and her life is a train wreck so I guess that is what people want to know about.
L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon partially accepted her lawyer’s plea to give Spears monitored overnight visitation. Spears, who was in court, was sworn in as the afternoon hearing began. She testified, but we don’t know what she said. source
Overnight visits will be monitored according to the terms of the arrangement. Britney left the court quite upset, but I guess she should of thought of that a long time ago when she was out flashing her crotch and telling everyone she was the devil. Good luck Brit.

Paparazzi…I hate that word. I hate how often it is used really as well. It’s one of those words that when people say it you think to yourself, well at least I do that :”This guy really thinks he is using a great word…”. I guess I’m screwy, but the word annoys me for some reason. Just say “The Press”, or “The Media”, or “reporters”…That is all you need. Paparazzi just sounds so stupid.
Anyways, The Chicago Sun Times posted a story that says Britney is seeking out the press apparently. She wants to know where they will be that day, and how she can get some exposure. Take a look for yourself here.

Back at it again. The “lovely” Ms. Spears was charged with a misdemeanor hit and run and driving without a valid license after she allegedly smashed her car into another in a parking lot in August. Another violation in the long line of the violation that is Britney Spears today. She is a trainwreck, and obviously very interesting to the majority of the people that like to read celebrity gossip.
If convicted, the singer could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count, said Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the city attorney’s office.
“I simply want my car fixed, the same as I would fix somebody’s car if I had done that,” Robard-Rifkin told the site in August.

The more pictures I see of Britney the less appealing this headline appears to me. Britney is always in the news for something outrageous and this is no different. If Britney Spears is in the news you can bet that it has something to do with her doing drugs, drinking, or getting naked somewhere. I guess that is what celebrity is all about now with all these crazy chicks out there.
It may be a while before Britney’s much-anticipated comeback album drops, but the dysfunctional pop princess isn’t letting that keep her out of the headlines.
The upcoming edition of US Weekly covers her latest uncovered escapades. A late-night pool party at Casa de la Spears turned into a tipsy game of Truth or Dare, or so says Matt Encinias, a 21-year-old extra from the set of the pop tart’s upcoming video. full story
