I don’t know about you, but seeing that La Toya Jackson actually believes she has what it takes to replace the legendary Simon Cowell on American Idol make me laugh like a little girl.

I mean this is LA TOYA JACKSON!. Who itheir right mind beleives she is even entertaining enough to interview, yet watch weekly on anything? Much less one of the most popular shows on television, and replace one of the most notorious TV personalities of all-time? Take an Orlando vacation and seek some help afterwards, lady.

I think TMZ probably gives you the general consensus on this whole fiasco.

IF you don’t know who Simon Fuller is, he is basically considered Cowell’s arch-rival for the month.

Fuller is pissed that Cowell is quitting American Idol after sealing a £100million deal to take the show to the US.

But he insisted that Idol will survive the TV star’s exit because the show has a “boxing-type” purity and is only about talented singers.

“I want Idol to be purely about talent,” stormed Fuller. “We’re not going to be led into the mud, we’re going to stay on our hill.” Too late…way to take the high road, and just nose dive straight into the mud bowl. Maybe you can say how all his guests are fat people and need belly fat reduction next?

But Fuller is known to resent Cowell’s success – and his livewire personality. “Fuller has got brains and instinct but has the personality of a wet weekend in Hastings,” said an insider, adding: “Cowell has the lot.”

Cowell has been nothing but complimentary of everyone still connected with American Idol. He released a statement saying how much he enjoyed his time on the show and wished them every success.

The source added: “This could get very messy.” Team Cowell last night refused to comment. A US telly source added: “It seems Mr Fuller has a lot of issues which he needs to work through.” US X Factor debuts in 2011 with Cowell as a judge and Cheryl Cole his probable sidekick.

It is quite funny that Adam Lambert kissing another guy has basically made him into a bigger star than he was. There is nothing better in the entertainment industry than making the stiffs upset.

I guess that guys kissing guys is still quite taboo in America. At least in front of people (I really don’t want to see it either, but it doesn’t upset me and there is no way I will complain if someone does it. They can do whatever they want). Adam Lambert made out with his male keyboard player on the American Music Awards last night and people got mad. 1500 people complained to ABC about it, and ABC’s the Today show actually canceled his appearance today. CBS of course took the opportunity to steal him and have him on their Early Show instead.

This guy just sold a ton of albums with the stunt and made himself some money. Funny how that works out isn’t it? Instead of squashing his popularity, the people that get offended by everything just pour fuel on the fire. HE could probably get paid to sell Mopar performance parts now.

Earlier this week Joe perry, Aerosmith guitarist claimed that lead singer, Steven Tyler was to turn out the lighting fixture on the band to pursue his own thing. It was based on an interview Tyler gave that stated he was ready to move on, but he had never actually told the rest of the band. Perry Tweeted about it yesterday, but aapprently today the band is back together?

Tyler and Perry made a surprise appearance onstage at the Fillmore in New York Tuesday night and announced that Tyler was back in the saddle. “I just want New York to know I’m not leaving Aerosmith,” Tyler, 61, told the cheering crowd. The band then gave an rousing performance of “Walk this Way.”

The speculation of a breakup started last week when Tyler told Classic Rock Magazine that his next project was “definitely going to be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler.” Distraught fans speculated that Tyler was taking a permanent vacation from the band.

Perry responded on Twitter saying, “Aerosmith is definitely NOT breaking up. One of the members is doing his own thing and said so in the press. That’s all I know.” Six minutes later, he Tweeted, “In the meantime, Aerosmith is positively looking for a new singer to work with. You just can’t take 40 years of experience and throw it in the bin!”

The girl that everyone loves to hate, Courtney Love has spoken up like all the other drug riddled celebrities do when they want to RAGE. They go on their Twitter accounts and put it out there for all their loser followers to see first.

Activision, the creator of the Guitar Hero franchise, has released Guitar Hero 5 with the image of Curt Cobain as an avatar. Cobain’s Earthly “love”, Courtney Love says that it is illegal to use his image with out her consent. Apparently nobody knows if they got any consent at all as Activision has yet to respond to the accusations.

Let me make a wild guess though as to whether or not Activision, the people that have worked with Metallica, The Beatles, Ozzy Osborne, and many other legendary musicians to get their consent, or Courtney Love who could use a bit of eye wrinkle cream and another stint in rehab are correct.

Let’s just say that if I were a betting man, I would put my money on Activision doing their due diligence in this case.

I’ve seen some pretty silly stage hijinks at concerts before, but I don’t believe that faking an injury has been one of them.

Aerosmith fans at a Wednesday night show in Rapid City, South Dakota apparently thought they were seeing this spectacle, and obediently cheered the singer’s tumble. Not sure if any camcorders were on hand, but surely this will be on Youtube soon.

“We thought maybe he stage-dived into the crowd, but he didn’t get back up,” Jessica Kokesh, a University of South Dakota journalism student who was covering the concert, told the AP. “I thought he was falling back to crowd-surf.”

Security guards rushed to Tyler’s aid, and he was taken backstage to be attended to by a physician. Eventually, Tyler was loaded onto a helicopter bound for the Rapid City Regional Hospital, where, according to several reports, it was revealed that he suffered minor head and neck injuries, and an injured shoulder as a result of the fall. Shortly after the incident, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry informed the crowd that Tyler had been airlifted to a hospital, and the show was over.

What could have possibly happened to make rapper Eminem race out acrossed the porcelain tile at the MTV Movie Awards?

Well…after performing his single “We Made You” and “Crack A Bottle” from his hit album Relapse, some odd things happened. Not long after his performance, he stormed away from his seat at the auditorium when Sacha Baron Cohen, in a barely-visibly thong as his flamboyant character Brüno, descended like an angel and landed face down in the rapper’s lap.

Let’s just say he was not amused. The body guards pounced and Eminem’s entourage made its exit in what was the most outrageous moment on a night.

I’m sure some sort of foul mouthed response is coming .

Susan Boyle captured the hearts of the world after that performance on Britain’s Got Talent a couple months back, but was not blessed with the win. Instead she lost to a dancing group known as “Diversity”. Tkae a look at one of their performances here (Again, embedding disabled).

During her finals performance, Boyle looked polished, wearing a sparkling, floor-length gown. She returned to the song that made her an internet sensation — “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Miserables.”

The winners earned a 100,000 pound ($159,000) prize and the chance to perform before Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Show.

Boyle won’t go away empty handed I’m sure, as I have read in the past that she was negotiating a contract with Simon Crowell and Sony BMG. So you will ahve plenty of opportunity to hear her sing again.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone on Britney’s latest comeback she stated that she felt like she was an “old person” now.

“I feel like an old person now,” she says one afternoon, as a manicurist applies rhinestones and girly pink lacquer to her chewed-up nails. “I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don’t go out or anything, you know what I mean? I just feel like an old fart.”

How endearing. I’m sure we are all very convinced that she is living the life of an old lady. Clearly she will be sending out her wedding invitations soon and living the life of a laid back family girl. That is until we see her dancing naked in a club or something.

The interview itself just sounds like the spin she was able to pull off when she first came onto the scene. She was a “virgin” then apparently, and had people believing that she was just an innocent little girl. It worked and she became a superstar. Sounds like she is trying to go back to those days of innocence, but says that her album is a “little dirty”.

Spears has always been like this: silly, sweet, humble. She has never been very articulate, but she always tries to be accommodating. Tonight, she’s listening to mixes and finishing work on a track called “Lace and Leather.” When I ask how she knows if a song is going to be a hit, she says, “You just hear it, and you’re like, oh, my God, if somebody else takes this song, you’re gonna kill yourself, you know what I mean? Like, this one I’m doing tonight, I think it’s good, and it’s, like, really quirky and different and girly.”

“A little naughty,” says her manager, Larry Rudolph, 45, sitting nearby in a T-shirt and jeans.

“A little naugh-tay,” Spears agrees, sounding half-embarrassed.

Travis Barker, former Blink 182 drummer was released from the hospital this weekend, almost one month after he was first hospitalized with severe burns following his escape from a Lear jet crash, which killed four in Columbia, S.C.

Barker wrote on his Myspace (lol Myspace) blog Thursday that he would be getting out soon and he now is. Get your own website dude. Surely you can afford it along with your own server and a memory upgrade for your laptop.

“Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think I’m getting out of the hospital soon,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to get out of here and be home with the babes. The doctors say I’m healing up quickly and I’m gonna be out of here b4 you know it.”

Barker wrote that a host of friends stopped by the hospital to visit, including Yoko from Matsuhisa, who “brought some food in for us.”

“She’s such a sweetheart and so nice to take the time to bring me some rad food,” Barker blogged.

On Wednesday night, DJ AM, who also survived the crash, made his first official appearance since the incident, opening for Jay-Z at the Hollywood Palladium.
