Rosie O’Donnel Reportedly in Talks to Host Variety Show
A day with out Rosie O’Donnel working is a sad day. When you hear she may have a new gig you get excited. Why? You want to hear what Donald Trump has to say about it. At least I do. The Trump’s rants against Rosie are legendary in my mind. Short of calling her an acne machine, Trump has called her everything else in the book. Fat, ugly, and a loser to name a few.
Rosie O’Donnell is in talks with NBC to make her TV return, according to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello. According to the report, O’Donnell is in discussions with the network about her own prime-time variety show.
What the hell is a variety show? The Gong Show? Something liek that? I guess this is the new Reality TV angle going on now. Instead of embarrassing yourself on purpose with the intent to pretend you think you actually have talent, I guess now you embarrass yourself on purpose doing things that people should not even know you can do. Entertainment has come so far.
Rosie O’Donnell May Get MSNBC Talk Show
I know everyone is excited to see Rosie back on the air filling your head with crazy political ideas and illogical arguments. It appears she may be able to actually do this on a news station, which is certainly good for comedic applications. I can’t imagine many take her political ramblings very seriously, but I guess she is a ratings draw for some odd reason. Kind of a train wreck if you asked me, but what do I know?
As of now it sounds like she is going to be pitted up against Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” and CNN’s “Larry King Live” in the 9 P.M. time slot. MSNBC has had a problem competing in that time slot so they may just be going with the easiest ratings boost they can get. A person that spews nonsense and gets people fired up. Controversy sells, as we all know so this should be an interesting match. Hopefully it spawns many more Donald Trump ravings soon.
Rosie Still Talking Smack
Rosie couldn’t hack it on “The View” so after getting booted from the show word is she is releasing her memoirs. The book is going to take shots at probably everyone who hates her, so this is going to be extremely long I assume. It has already been said that she is taking some shots at Barbara Walters and many others.
This would be great if she would team up with the Trumpster and go all out. Donald is the man in this whole fiasco and has some of the funniest moments when talking about Ms. O’Donnell. I don’t think Rosie was ever someone I even cared about until Trump started spouting off about how much he hated her. Great, great discourse between the two I say.
