An Inconvenient Truth to Become an Opera?
I’m sure you have all heard about Al Gore’s Nobel Prize winning bore fest, An Inconvenient Truth. It is Power Point presentation put on DVD where he spends about 10% of the time informing you about things he believes are trends of global warming, and 90% of the rest of the time trying to slip in jokes about how he lost the Presidential Election when the Florida recounts didn’t go his way.
Now there are some people who actually think it is a great idea to combine one really boring thing with another really boring thing. Opera and power point presentations about global warming. Boy, I certainly have my cheap hotels reservations all lined up for this one! The Opera is apparently at the legendary La Scala opera house in Milan plans to do an opera version of Al Gore’s documentary during its 2011 season. Italian composer Giorgio Battistelli hopes the opera will help people see the world’s environmental predicament from a fresh point of view. Well…at the very least it should get a lot of laughs.
Nicole Kidman Wants Kids Out of Scientology
As everyone knows, Nicole Kidman was once married to the most well known Scientologist ever: Tom Cruise. When Kidman and Cruise were married they adopted two children, Connor and Isabella with ex-husband Tom Cruise, no 13 and 15-years-old respectively. Now apparently after several years of knowing that Scientology was a farce, Kidman has decided to start leaking out comments that she wants her children out of the cult as well, although she has very limited contact with them. Why now?
No in depth comments were made by Kidman, but Page 6 from the /New York Post released this:
JASON Beghe isn’t the only former Scientologist who wants nothing to do with the church. Nicole Kidman , a Catholic, has limited contact with her adopted kids by Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor, who are deeply entrenched in Scientology. At the New York premiere of Ian Halperin’s film, “His Highness Hollywood,” a Scientology insider told Halperin that Kidman “wants her kids out of the church.” Halperin beat up on the faith in his book, “Hollywood Undercover,” and said he wasn’t surprised when, during the premiere, “the projector had been sabotaged.”
Scientology of course is some psychadelic religion that worships outdoor furniture, aliens, and some guy that writes science fiction books. Tom Cruise Purple: Marijuana
Sorry, but I have to post about this. With the crazy Scientologist out there talking about his crackpot religion he has made a real name for himself in the sort of “I’m crazy” club. Apparently there is a new strand of weed that you can’t get with your medicare advantage package named after the movie star Tom Cruise. The strand is called Tom Cruise Purple, and is said to have hallucinagenic properties. Some of Cali’s “cannabis clubs” are selling the chronic branded with a snap of Cruise “laughing hysterically.”
This surely pisses off the wealthy scientologists. Apparently Cruise lawyers are out trying check into the situation. This action ensures that this strand will never have another name. In fact it will be used to market many others in the future.
McCartney’s Estranged Wife Berates Rich
Heather Mills McCartney, who is reportedly seeking millions of dollars in her breakup with Paul McCartney, denounced the world’s rich as misers and snobs Wednesday.
Sure…probably right after she just got back from her carnival cruises, shopping sprees in Rome, and driving around in her new BMW I assume.
“Sadly, you have to mix at a certain level of people to raise the level of funds you need to bring about the greater good,” she said. “Because people are very snobby. These people who have lots of money, they’re either snobby or they’re stingy. If you have lots of money, you have to be stingy - because why would you want that amount of money?”
She also compared herself to human rights crusaders down through the ages, suggesting they all had been victimized for their beliefs.
“If you look at every single person in the history of the world who has tried to make a difference, you’ll find a very long section of their lives where they were treated horrifically by the government or by the media,” she said.

Scarlett Johansson is Overrated
There I said it. I think she is the most overrated “hottie” out there. I was looking for some pics to post of her and realized she is really quite unattractive. If you can find a non-airbrushed pic you may just agree. Take a look at this pic of her:
Disgusting. This is more how I view her than the many airbrushed shots she has all over the place and the perfect make up that took 4 hours to paint on. Far from a celeb beauty in my eyes.
